AV Unlimited has been in the industry for more than 15 years, and has built up an impressive list of clients. They offer audio visual, lighting and audio services.
A good-looking website, which takes a while to load. Pretty much everything on this site is Flash-based. While it looks very pretty, it doesn’t work that well as a marketing tool.
The navigation is poor – for instance, on some pages, images are linked to pages with more information. On the ‘Services’ page, this is indicated by the text ‘Click on thumbnails below for more detail’. On the ‘Events’ page, there’s no such indication, and on the ‘Client Feedback’ page, there are text links to (ugh!) PDF files – except that it’s hard to tell that the links are actually links.
The Marketing Effectiveness score of 18 is well below the average for the sites reviewed on this website. One reason the score is so low is because, in the words of my Search Optimization tool, “The page contains no words: Include text on page for better indexing.”
